About The Position

The Registered Nurse position focuses on Bowel Care responsibilities, including caring for individuals based on a personalized Plan of Care. This role involves informing the Director of Nursing and other appropriate personnel of changes in client conditions and needs, counseling clients and families through the care process, and updating families regularly. The nurse will assure proper maintenance of clinical records in compliance with local, state, and federal laws, and participate in agency performance improvement activities. Continuous learning about changes in the field of nursing and home health care is expected. Additionally, the role involves providing a broad range of infusion therapies in patients' homes, making a difference by using clinical IV experience and a personal touch to assist patients in recovering comfortably at home.

Requirements

• Bowel and Bladder care experience required
• Current unrestricted RN license in state for which care is being provided
• Minimum one (1) year of documented Hospital Bedside experience required
• Reliable car/auto insurance
• Clean background and criminal record
• Understands regulatory compliance with state and federal regulations
• Adhere to HIPAA and maintain client confidentiality

Nice To Haves

• Bachelors degree in Nursing
• Must have graduated from a National League of Nursing accredited program
• Three (3) to five (5) years of clinical experience with one (1) year experience in a home health agency, primary care clinic or health facility, preferred

Responsibilities
