About The Position
The University of Miami, UHealth Hospital has an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse in the Progressive Care department at the UTower location to work Full-time. The Staff Nurse (RN) is a registered professional nurse who prescribes, coordinates, evaluates and delivers patient care through collaborative efforts with members of the interdisciplinary team in accordance with the nursing process and standards of care and practices. The Registered Nurse also directs and guides patient and family teaching.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing, Bachelor’s degree (BSN) preferred. RNs hired with an Associates (ASN) degree have 2 years to complete the BSN degree.
- Registered Nurse License
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS-CPR Certification )
- ACLS
- Two (2) years Medical Surgical Nursing experience
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree (BSN) preferred
