RN- Atrium Outpatient Neurology Concord FT Days
About The Position
The Registered Nurse will support Atrium Health Neurology Concord and Kenilworth Cognitive Clinic, which diagnoses, treats, and manages neurodegenerative conditions affecting memory, behavior, and other cognitive functions. Conditions include Alzheimer's disease, mild cognitive impairment, Lewy body dementia, and other dementias in older adults and, rarely, younger adults. The position supports both clinic locations and assists with triage, memory testing, and management of patients receiving infusion treatment. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., for 40 hours per week.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
- Current BLS certification.
Nice To Haves
- ACLS certification.
- At least one year of nursing experience.
- Prior neurology or cognitive experience.
Responsibilities
- Support the neurology clinics at both Concord and Kenilworth locations.
- Assist with patient triage.
- Assist with memory testing.
- Help manage patients receiving infusion treatment.
