About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse to join the Float Pool team at Concord Hospital-Laconia. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced acute care environment while delivering safe, evidence-based nursing care.
Requirements
- Active New Hampshire RN License or Compact RN License.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
- Minimum 2+ years of recent acute care Med Surg/Telemetry experience.
- Advanced Telemetry experience required.
- Ability to pass the Advanced Dysrhythmia Exam.
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and patient assessment skills.
Nice To Haves
- Cerner EMR experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care.
- Monitor patients with advanced telemetry and cardiac conditions.
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and cardiac drips, including Cardizem and insulin for hyperglycemia.
- Accurately document patient care and collaborate with the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Float to designated units as needed while maintaining exceptional patient care standards.
