RN Labor and Delivery FT Nights
About The Position
Seeking a Registered Nurse for Baptist Health Floyd, Labor and Delivery. This is a Full-time position (36 Hours Weekly) working Nights (7pm-7am). A Sign-on bonus is eligible for experienced external candidates only. In this role, the RN will be responsible and accountable for direct comprehensive nursing care for the patient from admission to discharge. The Registered Nurse will function as an on-shift team member providing direct patient care to meet the needs of patients, families, and co-workers. The Labor and Delivery department is equipped with eight labor and delivery suites, two triage bays, two operating rooms, and two recovery bays with wireless monitoring capabilities. Natural birthing options such as nitrous oxide, laboring tubs, and birthing balls are available. The department averages around 1,000 births annually.
Requirements
- A minimum of 1 year RN experience required.
- Current Indiana or compact state RN license
- BLS for Healthcare Providers required.
- NRP certification required (obtained within 6 months of hire).
- ACLS certification required (obtained within 6 months of hire).
- S.T.A.B.L.E certification required (obtained within 12 months of hire).
Nice To Haves
- Previous L&D nursing experience preferred.
