About The Position

Rock House is a family-owned business that has been a leader in residential, foster, and in-home support and care for persons with special needs. We are looking for an RN who wants a fun job working daytime hours, physically non-demanding work, and a place where you can build long-term relationships with patients. This role involves monitoring the ongoing medical needs of residents in group home settings, performing nursing assessments, developing and implementing nursing care plans, and other clinical documentation. You will also be responsible for medication delegation and training regarding medication needs.

Requirements

• License as RN in the State of Texas.
• Basic word processing, spreadsheet, and computer skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• IDD nursing experience.
• On-call capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring on-going medical needs of residents in group home settings.
• Performs nursing assessments.
• Develops and implements nursing care plans.
• Completes other clinical documentation.
• Delegation of medication and training regarding medication needs.
• On-call capabilities, primarily triaging by phone after hours.
