About The Position

The Registered Nurse works 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM in a Neuro Stepdown unit. The RN cares for patients requiring close neurological monitoring and intermediate-level care following neurological illness or surgery. The role focuses on managing complex neurological patients while monitoring neurological status, cardiac rhythms, and overall patient stability. The nurse collaborates with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to provide safe, high-quality care in a progressive care environment.

Requirements

• At least 18 months of permanent nursing experience in the specialty before travel assignments.
• At least 18 months of recent Neuro Stepdown experience.
• An active Ohio RN license or Compact license at the time of submission.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• A recent supervisory reference for submission.

Nice To Haves

• PCU or Progressive Care experience.
