About The Position

This role focuses on delivering high-quality, compassionate nursing care to stroke and medical-surgical patients in a high-acuity environment. The nurse will prioritize safety and clinical excellence, monitor and communicate real-time clinical changes to enable rapid, life-saving interventions, and empower patients to regain independence by focusing on daily living milestones and improving their overall quality of life. The position also involves managing the full discharge process to ensure smooth transitions for patients and families.

Requirements

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
• 6+ months of acute care nursing experience
