About The Position

The Clinical Nurse is a registered nurse (RN) who partners with and advocates for patients, families, and significant others by providing physical, emotional, and spiritual support that impacts patient outcomes in a safe environment. The RN functions in a versatile role, demonstrating professionalism and promoting excellence and autonomy in nursing practice. The RN uses the nursing process and evidence-based principles to care for a diverse caseload of patients within the department’s scope of service. The RN serves as a guide, healer, collaborator, teacher, leader, and sentry, and collaborates with and guides care delivered by the interprofessional team. The RN is accountable for compliance with the Ohio Nurse Practice Act, the Nursing Code of Ethics, and applicable regulatory standards.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Valid Ohio RN license.
• Minimum of 1 year of general operating room experience as an RN.
• Ability to multitask with constant interruptions while maintaining a pleasant demeanor.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• BSN preferred.
