About The Position

Logan Health Whitefish has an exciting opportunity for a PRN Registered Nurse to provide critical, compassionate care in our Emergency Department. Logan Health Whitefish is a 25-bed critical access hospital located in the scenic ski resort town of Whitefish, Montana. We are in the heart of the Flathead Valley, which offers an endless array of outdoor recreation, skiing, hiking and biking trails, whitewater rafting, and the breathtaking Glacier National Park. Requirements

• Current Montana RN license or a multi state compact license with authorization to practice nursing within the state of Montana.
• Prior Emergency Department experience.
• Current AHA BLS certification or ability to successfully obtain within two (2) months of hire.
• AHA ACLS & AHA PALS required.
• TNCC & ENCP certification obtained within 6 months of hire.
• Possess knowledge of professional nursing theory, medical terminology and principles of professional nursing practice to administer and evaluate patient care.

Nice To Haves

• BSN degree preferred.
• NRP certification

Responsibilities

• Provide critical, compassionate care in the Emergency Department.
• Manage complex patients during intense and prolonged care.
• Adapt to the fast-paced and ever-changing needs of the unit.
• Work collaboratively with the team and independently when needed.
• Develop new skills and deepen clinical expertise.
