Requirements

Utah RN licensure or multi-state compact license to practice in Utah
Must be at least 21 years of age
Able to pass a criminal history background check and drug screen
Must work 2 shifts every two weeks unless there is no need
Must cover 2 call outs in a rolling calendar year and cover either Thanksgiving Day or Christmas Day
Must be able to attend mandatory new employee orientation and all other required training

Nice To Haves

2 years' experience in the behavioral health/psychiatric nursing field is preferred, but NOT REQUIRED.

Responsibilities

Assist in providing a safe and therapeutic environment for students
Initial and ongoing assessment of physical health of students and educating students regarding connection between physical and mental health
Demonstrates knowledge of Nursing Department philosophy, and assumes responsibility for maintaining Standards of Nursing Practice and Standards of Care for all patients
