About The Position

The Registered Nurse works with other healthcare professionals to treat patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities. The role includes monitoring patients, administering medications, maintaining records, consulting with healthcare providers, and educating patients. This is a full-time, day-shift position in Outpatient Infusion at Atlantic Health Chilton Medical Center, with hours of 8 AM to 4 PM.

Requirements

1–2 years of oncology or infusion experience.
Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
Current BLS certification.
Current ONS Chemo/Bio card.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in nursing. ASN-prepared nurses must complete BSN studies within five years of their start date.

Responsibilities

Maintain accurate and complete health care records and reports.
Administer medications and monitor patients for side effects and reactions.
Prescribe assistive medical devices and related treatments.
Monitor, report, and record symptoms or changes in patient conditions.
Assess, implement, plan, or evaluate patient nursing care plans in collaboration with healthcare team members.
Record patient vital signs and medical information.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
