About The Position

This role is for a Registered Nurse in the Inpatient Rehab department at Ascension St. Vincent in Evansville, IN. The position is full-time and works the night shift. A sign-on bonus of up to $15,000 is offered. The nurse will deliver direct patient care, implement and adapt treatment plans, coordinate multidisciplinary care teams, monitor patient status, and streamline discharge transitions.

Requirements

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care by implementing and adapting individualized treatment plans to promote safety and optimal healing.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary care teams to ensure all specialists and resources align around unified patient goals.
• Monitor patient status in real time by tracking condition changes and communicating updates promptly to guide timely interventions.
• Streamline the discharge transition by assessing ongoing patient needs and collaborating with care teams to support a safe return home.
