About The Position

Provides clinical direction for all aspects of patient care in an acute inpatient setting, fostering patient- and family-centered care. Demonstrates clinical competency and uses evidence-based practices throughout the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, and outcomes. Incorporates safety protocols, cost containment, quality improvement, patient and organizational priorities, and applicable compliance and policy requirements into practice. Demonstrates knowledge of regulatory agency requirements and provides care within the scope of the Nurse Practice Act.
