About The Position

Provides direct patient care in the Emergency Department using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice. Reports to the Director or Manager of Department. Patient Populations Served: Neonate, Infant, Early Childhood, Late Childhood, Adolescent, Young Adult, Middle Adult, Older Adult. Protected Health Information Accessed: Demographic, Clinical, Insurance, Financial, Complete Medical Record. Exposure: Occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens is present for all employees.

Requirements

• Current RN license in state of practice
• BCLS required
• Associate’s Degree in Nursing required

• ACLS
• PALS
• Handle with Care preferred
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred
