Registered Nurse RN Emergency Services
About The Position
The Registered Nurse in Emergency Services protects, promotes, and restores health and wellness by practicing at the highest level of their licensure. This role involves collaborating with providers and multidisciplinary care team members to ensure care coordination across the continuum. Key responsibilities include assessing and supporting physical symptoms, providing psychological support to patients, friends, and families, mentoring assigned team members, promoting best practices, and maintaining a professional disposition at all times. The RN Hospital Inpatient/ED operates within hospital units that provide 24/7 care.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing in appropriate state (Illinois or Michigan)
- Current American Heart Association HealthCare Provider BLS is required prior to start date of employment
Nice To Haves
- BSN
- Experience as an RN in a healthcare environment
- Electronic Medical Record and Microsoft application basic proficiency
