About The Position

The Staff Pad has partnered with a respected healthcare organization in Russellville, Alabama, to hire a dedicated and compassionate Float Pool Registered Nurse. The nurse provides and coordinates high-quality patient care by assessing patient needs, developing individualized care plans, and collaborating with the healthcare team. The role includes implementing physician orders, delivering nursing interventions, advocating for patients, and evaluating care outcomes to ensure safe, effective, and compassionate treatment. The schedule is full-time nights.

Requirements

Active RN license in the state of practice.
Strong clinical knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and nursing best practices.
Proficient in suturing and a variety of clinical procedures.
Exceptional communication, patient education, and interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

Urgent care or ambulatory surgery center experience preferred.
Familiarity with geriatric care principles is a plus.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care following established standards and protocols.
Conduct physical assessments and evaluate patient health status.
Assist with cardiac catheterization and specialized procedures.
Coordinate discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
Educate patients and families on health management and disease prevention.
Support quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.
