Overnight RN Hospice Triage $10,000 Signing Bonus

Kline Galland•Seattle, WA
•Onsite

About The Position

Kline Galland Hospice is hiring an experienced Registered Nurse to serve as its primary overnight clinical triage resource for hospice patients, caregivers, and facilities. Based at the South Seattle (Georgetown) office, the nurse independently evaluates urgent symptoms, coordinates interventions and field visits, maintains continuity overnight, and prepares the daytime team for priority follow-up. Patient calls, urgent follow-up, orders, visits, and required clinical documentation take priority over assigned clinical audits and hospice plan-of-care work. The position is scheduled at 0.75 FTE for overnight shifts from 12:30 AM to 8:30 AM, on a seven-days-on/seven-days-off rotation. The shift includes overlap and handoffs with evening and day-shift nurses; weekends and holidays are worked as scheduled. The nurse receives a structured handoff from the 2nd Shift RN between 12:30 AM and 1:00 AM and provides one to the 1st Shift RN between 8:00 AM and 8:30 AM. Incomplete audit or plan-of-care assignments, documentation risks, and required follow-up are communicated to the Nursing Manager. Kline Galland Hospice is part of a nonprofit healthcare organization with more than a century of service to the Seattle community. Its team provides end-of-life care with compassion, dignity, and clinical excellence.
