About The Position

As a Registered Nurse at Riverside Village, you will build meaningful relationships by learning about residents’ and staff members’ life stories. You will use nursing skills to promote residents’ physical and psychosocial well-being and contribute to a rewarding care experience. Schedule options are 8-hour and 16-hour shifts. The role calls for a supportive presence, leadership, collaboration, teamwork, and interpersonal communication to provide coordinated, respectful, and excellent resident care.

Requirements

• Current and valid Registered Nurse license in the state of Indiana.
• Proficient medication management skills.
• Ability to conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in resident conditions.
• Strong passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence.

Responsibilities

• Promote the physical and psychosocial well-being of residents through nursing care.
• Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents.
• Promote teamwork within the care team to meet residents’ needs.
• Collaborate with nursing and other facility teams to coordinate comprehensive resident care.
• Conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in residents’ conditions.
• Manage medications.
• Demonstrate C.A.R.E. values in interactions with residents, family members, customers, and staff.
• Support a respectful and positive work environment.
