Registered Nurse Hospice RN
About The Position
The Registered Nurse Hospice RN will join Lutheran SeniorLife’s VNA Home Health team, providing hospice and home health services to patients in their homes. The territory extends from Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania, up through and including Beaver County, Pennsylvania, with services also described in Armstrong, Butler, and surrounding counties. The role involves independently visiting patients and supporting education and healing in the home through one-on-one relationships. The position is based in Butler, Pennsylvania, is casual, and has varying shifts. The starting rate is $35 per hour, and a $1,000 sign-on bonus is paid throughout the first year of employment.
Requirements
- Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
- Dependable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
- Working knowledge of computers, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
Nice To Haves
- One year of experience in hospital medical/surgical nursing, public health nursing, or related experience is preferred.
- Prior home health care, hospice, psychiatric, and/or mental health nursing experience.
