About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides high-quality, safe, cost-effective, total nursing care to patients. The RN coordinates and integrates patient care based on the nursing process and directs care according to established safety, risk management, quality improvement, and infection-control standards, with the goal of discharging patients after providing an optimal level of care. The position is on the night shift and is full-time. A signing-on bonus of up to $20,000 is offered to qualified candidates, paid over 24 months.

Requirements

• Meet Florida's education requirements for Registered Nurse licensure.
• Hold a Registered Nurse license in the State of Florida.
• Hold BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Have Basic EKG training and a critical care course and/or emergency care course that includes critical-care didactic content.
• Obtain PALS within six months.
• For Trauma Resus and TICU roles, obtain TNCC within one year.
• For Trauma Resus roles, obtain ENPC within one year.

Nice To Haves

• BSN preferred.
• Prior clinical experience in the area of expertise preferred.
• CCRN or TCRN preferred.
• TNCC is optional for TSD roles.
• ENPC is optional for TICU and TSD roles.

Responsibilities

• Report for scheduled shifts on time and prepared to assume responsibilities.
• Attend and participate in meetings and take responsibility for information communicated at meetings.
• Adhere to corporate, regional, hospital, and departmental policies and procedures.
• Follow infection-control procedures at all times.
• Adhere to environmental care standards.
• Adapt care to varied age-specific patient populations.
• Coordinate and integrate patient care based on the nursing process.
• Direct care according to established safety, risk management, quality improvement, and infection-control standards.
