About The Position
This is a 13-week travel assignment for a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Pre-Operative care. The position is for a day shift, working 40 hours per week, from 5:30 AM to 2:00 PM. Local candidates within a 50-mile radius are not being considered. The role requires availability to work two major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year’s Day) and one minor holiday (Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, New Year’s Eve).
Requirements
- Active RN license in the state of Georgia
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Pre-Op nursing
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- PALS certification
- NIHSS certification
- Availability to work two (2) major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year’s Day)
- Availability to work one (1) minor holiday (Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, New Year’s Eve)
Responsibilities
- Provide pre-operative nursing care to patients.
- Administer necessary assessments and interventions prior to surgical procedures.
- Monitor patient status and vital signs.
- Educate patients and families on pre-operative procedures and expectations.
- Collaborate with the surgical team.
Benefits
- Hourly Rate: $20.00 – $21.00/hr
- Weekly Stipend: $1,876
