About The Position
Visiting Nurse Service Westchester is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide home health care in Dutchess County. Nurses ensure the quality and safe delivery of home health services by assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and coordinating care in the home in collaboration with patients and other health team members.
Requirements
- Current New York State license and registration to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse.
- At least 1 year of RN experience in home health care or a Medical/Surgical program, such as critical care, emergency room, or wound care.
- Ability to assess and respond to the needs of patients and families in the home setting.
- Professional liability insurance in the amount specified by VNSW.
- Ability to use industry technology such as a tablet while in the field with patients.
- Ability to drive and have an automobile in good working condition available for field use.

- Experience with OASIS assessments.
