About The Position

The Outpatient Surgery Center Registered Nurse delivers safe, efficient, and compassionate surgical care in collaboration with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and support staff. The RN performs plan-of-care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care activities; documents care; and monitors, records, and communicates patient condition to the care team, physicians, patients, and families. The role requires reliable attendance and flexibility as the schedule changes frequently.

This is a part-time evening position scheduled Monday through Friday, two 12-hour shifts from 0830 to 2100. There are no call, weekend, or holiday requirements. Community Medical Center is a 151-bed hospital in Missoula, Montana, and part of Lifepoint Health.

Requirements

• Current Montana RN license or Compact RN License with Montana endorsement.
• Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing school.
• BCLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required upon hire.
• At least 1 year of bedside nursing experience.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Operating room circulator nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform plan-of-care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care activities.
• Document patient care provided.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition to the care team, physician, patient, and family.
• Provide quality patient care and work flexible shifts as the schedule changes frequently.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
