Hillsdale Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Full Time position in the OB/Labor and Delivery unit. Requirements
- Valid Michigan RN license
- At least one year of RN experience required, preferably in Labor and Delivery
- BLS required
- ACLS, NRP, and TEAM certifications required within one year of hire
Nice To Haves
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Taking vitals for the mom and baby
- Administering medication
- Monitoring contractions
- Identifying complications during labor and delivery
- Communicating the mom’s condition and needs to the CNM and/or Physician
- Coaching the mom during labor and delivery
- Caring for the mom after she gives birth
- Caring for newborn
- Participating in unit specific/hospital-wide quality improvement initiatives and assist with activities that enhance quality of nursing practices
