About The Position

Franciscan Health is hiring a Registered Nurse at its Lafayette East Campus in Lafayette, Indiana. Nurses provide comprehensive care to patients and their families by listening to and assessing patients, developing plans of care, and implementing, reassessing, and evaluating care. The position is on a .875 days shift and requires 30-minute call availability. The operating rooms handle a case mix that includes orthopedic and spine, vascular and open-heart, laparoscopic, robotic hysterectomy, and spinal fusion cases. Travel is never or rarely required.

Requirements

• Associate's degree in Nursing/Patient Care.
• Registered Nurse (RN) state license in the state of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association, if required by the unit.
• Unit-specific certifications required by Franciscan Alliance, if applicable to the unit.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from the American Heart Association, if required by the unit.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification from the American Academy of Pediatrics, if required by the unit.
