About The Position
As part of an interdisciplinary team to a diverse maternal/newborn patient population, the Registered Nurse will monitor and support patients in the mother/baby department, providing care throughout every stage from admission to discharge.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; BSN required
- Current NYS Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- BLS and NRP certifications required
- 2+ years mother/baby experience required
- EPIC experience required
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient-education skills
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in L&D strongly preferred
Responsibilities
- Monitor and support patients in the mother/baby department.
- Provide care throughout every stage from admission to discharge.
- Respond to maternal and neonatal emergencies.
