About The Position

Wolfe Eye Clinic has an immediate opening for a Registered Nurse who will travel to other clinics with the Retina teams. The nurse will work closely with retina specialists to provide comprehensive patient care. Candidates should be eager to learn in a fast-paced environment and able to interact positively with patients while providing instruction and education.

This is a full-time position based in Fort Dodge, Iowa, with required daytime travel within Iowa. When traveling outside the base clinic, travel time is compensated and mileage is reimbursed. The clinic offers daytime Monday–Friday work hours and full-time benefits, including health and dental coverage, a 401(k), and paid time off.

Requirements

• Current Iowa nursing license.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to remain organized.
• Ability to learn and adapt quickly.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to travel within Iowa during the daytime.

Nice To Haves

• Clinical nursing experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Room patients.
• Administer injections.
• Assist physicians with exams.
• Triage phone calls and respond to tasks.
• Scribe for the physician.
• Maintain electronic medical records.
• Perform insurance pre-authorizations.
• Perform other clinical duties as needed.
• Travel to other clinics with the Retina teams.
