About The Position
Seeking a Registered Nurse for Women's Health Services at Baptist Health Floyd. This is a part-time position (24 hours weekly) with night shifts (7pm-7am). A sign-on bonus is eligible for experienced external applicants. In this role, the RN will be responsible and accountable for direct comprehensive nursing care for the patient from admission to discharge. The Registered Nurse will function as an on-shift team member providing direct patient care to meet the needs of patients, families, and co-workers. Women's Health Services is conveniently located on the same floor as the Labor and Delivery unit and is a 19-bed unit utilizing a couplet care model following the AWHONN staffing guidelines. The unit also cares for female post-operative patients who have recently undergone gynecological or bariatric procedures.
Requirements
- Current Indiana or compact state RN License.
- BLS for Healthcare Providers required.
- NRP certification required (obtained within 6 months of hire).
- S.T.A.B.L.E certification required (obtained within 12 months of hire).
Responsibilities
