About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) is part of ProMedica’s patient care team, providing patient-centered care with sensitivity and respect for the diversity of human experience. The RN coordinates the patient’s plan of care and communicates with patients, families, and the health care team through open communication, mutual respect, and shared decision-making. The role includes assessing patients, formulating nursing diagnoses, planning and implementing care, and evaluating the effectiveness of care plans. The RN collaborates with fellow nurses and support staff to achieve patient care goals and works to improve patient care, the work environment, and patient and staff satisfaction. The position is in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit at Flower Hospital.

Requirements

Current state license as a Registered Nurse.
Current CPR training.
Specialty certifications as required by individual nursing units.
In Ohio, complete 24 contact hours of continuing education during each licensure period, including at least 1 contact hour related to Chapter 4723 of the Ohio nurse practice code and rules.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
