About The Position
BAYADA Home Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a part-time or per-diem weekend position with its Fayetteville Visits office. The office serves adult and geriatric clients on a per-visit basis throughout Cumberland, Harnett, and Hoke counties. Home health and OASIS documentation experience is required. The nurse provides in-home care, follows individual care plans, monitors client conditions, coordinates care, and documents services using a tablet.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse license in North Carolina.
- At least one year of recent, verifiable clinical medical/surgical experience.
- Home health and OASIS documentation experience required.
- Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program, supported by a school transcript or diploma.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel to assigned cases.
Nice To Haves
- Prior home care experience is strongly preferred but not required.
- Prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) is preferred.
- Solid computer skills.
Responsibilities
- Follow designated care plans according to patients’ needs.
- Make home visits to clients in assigned geographic territories.
- Perform assigned duties, including medication administration, wound care, treatments, and procedures.
- Monitor clients’ conditions and report changes to the Clinical or Client Services Manager.
- Follow up on, execute, and document doctors’ orders.
- Perform client assessments as necessary.
- Provide case management and coordinate care.
- Accurately document observations, interventions, evaluations, and services using a touch-pad tablet.
