Weekend Registered Nurse, (RN) - Home Health
About The Position
BAYADA Home Health Care is hiring a Weekend Registered Nurse to make home health visits for adult and geriatric clients throughout Mecklenburg and Union counties through its Charlotte Visits office. The role is offered full time, part time, or per diem and provides services on a per-visit basis. Home health and OASIS documentation experience is required. The nurse helps clients remain at home with comfort, independence, and dignity by delivering compassionate, high-quality care. The position involves following care plans, conducting visits and assessments, providing treatments, coordinating care, and documenting services using a tablet.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse license in North Carolina.
- At least one year of recent, verifiable clinical medical/surgical experience.
- Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program, verified by school transcript or diploma.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel to assigned cases.
- Home health and OASIS documentation experience is required.
Nice To Haves
- Prior home care experience is strongly preferred but not required.
- Prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) is preferred.
- Solid computer skills.
Responsibilities
- Follow designated care plans in accordance with patients’ needs.
- Make home visits to clients in assigned geographic territories.
- Perform assigned duties, including medication administration, wound care, treatments, and procedures.
- Monitor clients’ conditions and report changes to the Clinical or Client Services Manager.
- Follow up on, execute, and properly document doctors’ orders.
- Perform client assessments as necessary.
- Provide case management and coordinate care.
- Accurately document observations, interventions, and evaluations related to client care and services using a touch-pad tablet.
