About The Position
UW Medical Center - Montlake has an outstanding opportunity for a full time, REGISTERED NURSE in the PRE ANESTHESIA DEPARTMENT. Our Pre-Anesthesia Clinic RNs provide pre-anesthetic assessment and teaching to 40-60 patients/day, either in clinic or by phone. Nurses receive specialty training to perform a complete pre-anesthesia evaluation.
Requirements
- Current unrestricted WA license
- One year of recent ICU or ED/ER experience or prior PACU, Phase I and Phase 2
- BLS
- L-RN | REGISTERED NURSE LICENSE - WA State or Multistate license
- Equivalent education and/or experience may substitute for minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license, certification, and/or registration.
Responsibilities
- Provide pre-anesthetic assessment and teaching to 40-60 patients/day, either in clinic or by phone.
- Perform a complete pre-anesthesia evaluation.
