About The Position

Sentara Heart Hospital in Norfolk, VA, a 112-bed facility recognized for its top-tier Cardiology services and Heart Surgery, is seeking Registered Nurses to join their team. Openings are available in various specialized units including C-IMCU, Cardiac Surgical IMCU, Cath Lab, Advanced Heart Failure, Cardiac Surgical Intensive Care Unit (CSICU), and Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU). Requirements

• Associate’s Degree or Diploma in Registered Nursing
• Virginia RN License or Virginia or Compact/Multi-State Eligible
• BLS within 90 days of hire for all Direct Care RNs
• ACLS within 1 year of hire for Critical Care/IMCU

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of Science Nursing - BSN or MSN
• Previous healthcare experience
• Less than one year of experience (for Nurse Residency program)

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within specialized cardiac units.
• Participate in a 6-month Nurse Residency program for new graduates.
• Transition confidently into a nursing career with practical skills, hands-on training, professional development, and mentoring.
