Requirements

  • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required
  • Current RN licensure in Wisconsin upon hire
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers

  • BSN preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide Love + Medicine to patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, amputation, debility, and other complex medical conditions.
  • Teach patients and families the skills, strategies, and self-care techniques needed to support recovery and maximize independence after discharge.
  • Develop meaningful relationships with patients and families as you support them throughout their rehabilitation journey.
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team that includes physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, social workers, CNAs, and fellow RNs to help patients achieve their rehabilitation goals.
  • Support patients as they work toward improved mobility, function, confidence, and quality of life.
