About The Position
This position is for a Rehab Nurse on the Birch Unit at Bryn Mawr Rehab Hospital. The role involves collaborating with an interdisciplinary team on an 11-bed unit, providing care and treatment to patients, primarily those recovering from stroke and orthopedic conditions. The position offers opportunities for career development through tuition reimbursement for advanced degrees and involvement in hospital and system-wide nursing committees, unit councils, research projects, precepting, and the Clinical Ladder program. Requirements
- 1 year of recent Acute Care Nurse experience.
- PA RN license OR a multi-state license verified in one of the approved states through the Nursing Licensure Compact.
- Provider BLS (American Heart Assoc/American Red Cross) required.
Nice To Haves
- Rehab Nurse experience preferred.
- BSN preferred.
Responsibilities
- Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team within the 11-bed unit.
- Providing care and treatment to patients, integral to their patient experience.
- Caring for a less acute, stroke and ortho patient population.
- Joining hospital & system-wide Nursing Committees, Unit Councils, evidence-based research projects, precepting new staff, and pursuing the Clinical Ladder program.
