About The Position

American Senior Communities is hiring a Registered Nurse at Heritage House for full-time night shifts. Nurses build meaningful relationships with residents and staff by learning their life stories, and use their nursing skills to promote residents’ physical and psychosocial well-being. Requirements

• Hold a current, valid Registered Nurse license in Indiana.
• Have proficient medication management skills.
• Be able to conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in resident conditions.
• Have a strong passion for geriatric nursing and a commitment to excellence in senior care.

• Demonstrate supportive presence, leadership, collaboration, teamwork, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Promote the physical and psychosocial well-being of residents.
• Conduct thorough resident assessments and accurately document changes in their conditions.
• Manage medications.
• Promote teamwork within the care team to meet residents’ needs.
• Collaborate with nursing and other facility teams to provide coordinated, comprehensive resident care.
• Help create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents.
• Support a respectful and positive work environment.
• Demonstrate C.A.R.E. values in interactions with residents, family members, customers, and staff.
