Registered Nurse - Med/Surg/Tele
About The Position
The Registered Nurse delivers safe patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, and provides direct care within the scope of practice. The RN directs and guides patient and family teaching and the activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care in the Med/Surg/Telemetry Unit. The RN is directly responsible and accountable for care provided to assigned patients, communicates with physicians about changes in clinical condition—including cardiac monitoring, diagnostic study results, and symptoms—and responds quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.
Requirements
- Current and valid state RN license.
- Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintained thereafter.
Nice To Haves
- Current ACLS certificate within 30 days of hire and maintained thereafter (preferred).
- Previous acute care hospital experience (preferred).
- Ventilator management experience (preferred).
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) (preferred).
