About The Position
cTrace Solutions is seeking a Registered Nurse for a psychiatric facility in Middletown, Connecticut. This is a 12-week assignment with potential for extension. The schedule is 2nd shift, 2:45 p.m. to 11:15 p.m., with every other weekend required. Compensation is $65–$70 per hour, based on experience, with weekly pay and a $200 sign-on bonus. Benefits eligibility requires working at least 30 hours per week; assignments under 30 hours per week are not benefit-eligible.
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved school of professional nursing.
- Currently licensed in the state(s) in which practicing.
- Connecticut RN license.
- CPR/BLS.
Responsibilities
- Document patient interactions, treatments administered, and clinical interventions accurately in electronic health records.
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and case managers to support client recovery goals.
- Respond immediately to medical or psychiatric crises using approved de-escalation and emergency protocols.
- Educate clients and their families on medication adherence, health management, and available wellness resources.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant clinical environment according to state healthcare regulations.
