Registered Nurse - Suffolk
About The Position
The agency is hiring a Registered Nurse for supervisory visits with non-skilled in-home personal care clients. The role offers part-time work with a self-determined schedule; nurses may choose how many hours to work and designate the area in which they provide visits across the Middle Peninsula and surrounding areas. Compensation is activity-based: $65 per initial assessment, $55 per reassessment at six months, $30 for a missed visit when the client is not home, $30 per in-service or class, $20 per aide orientation when additional clinical training is needed, and $20 per hour for office work. An additional $5 per assessment or visit is paid for clients located more than 30 miles from the agency.
Responsibilities
- Conduct supervisory visits for non-skilled clients receiving in-home personal care.
- Perform initial assessments and six-month reassessments.
- Provide in-services or classes.
- Provide aide orientation and additional clinical training when needed, such as Hoyer lift training for a caregiver in the home.
- Perform office work as needed.
