About The Position

We are seeking dedicated and caring Registered Nurses (RN) to be part of a team with a patient-centered approach, bringing decades of experience in providing the most innovative care. This position will treat patients with all diagnoses with a focus on stroke, traumatic brain or spinal cord injuries, as well as other neurological conditions. Our new unit will feature a collaborative interdisciplinary team atmosphere and approach to patient care. This is a great opportunity to work in a special inpatient rehab setting, while still having access to the opportunities and benefits provided by an acute care hospital. Requirements

  • Current Connecticut RN License required prior to start date
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing school
  • ASN Required (Must obtain a BSN within 6 years of starting in the RN role)
  • BLS certification by the American Heart Association

Nice To Haves

  • BSN preferred
  • One-year recent Acute Care RN experience preferred
  • Graduate Nurses are encouraged to apply

Responsibilities

  • Treat patients with all diagnoses with a focus on stroke, traumatic brain or spinal cord injuries, as well as other neurological conditions.
  • Provide 24-hour rehabilitative nursing care.
  • Utilize the latest rehab techniques.
  • Collaborate within an interdisciplinary team.
  • Provide acute medical management.
