About The Position

We are seeking dedicated and caring Registered Nurses (RN) to be part of a team with a patient-centered approach, bringing decades of experience in providing the most innovative care. This position will treat patients with all diagnoses with a focus on stroke, traumatic brain or spinal cord injuries, as well as other neurological conditions. Our new unit will feature a collaborative interdisciplinary team atmosphere and approach to patient care. This is a great opportunity to work in a special inpatient rehab setting, while still having access to the opportunities and benefits provided by an acute care hospital. Requirements

Current Connecticut RN License required prior to start date
Graduate of an accredited nursing school
ASN Required (Must obtain a BSN within 6 years of starting in the RN role)
BLS certification by the American Heart Association

Nice To Haves

BSN preferred
One-year recent Acute Care RN experience preferred
Graduate Nurses are encouraged to apply

Responsibilities

Treat patients with all diagnoses with a focus on stroke, traumatic brain or spinal cord injuries, as well as other neurological conditions.
Provide 24-hour rehabilitative nursing care.
Utilize the latest rehab techniques.
Collaborate within an interdisciplinary team.
Provide acute medical management.
