About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Emergency Room team for the night shift (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will have experience working in fast-paced emergency room settings and possess strong clinical skills to provide exceptional patient care during overnight hours.

Requirements

• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas.
• Proven experience as an Emergency Room Nurse or in a similar acute care setting.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to work full-time night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM).

Nice To Haves

• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Room, including assessment, treatment, and monitoring of patients.
• Respond promptly to emergency situations and prioritize care based on patient needs.
• Collaborate with physicians, healthcare team members, and support staff to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
• Document patient information accurately and timely in electronic medical records.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, following hospital protocols and safety guidelines.
• Educate patients and families regarding care plans, procedures, and discharge instructions.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment adhering to infection control and safety standards.
