About The Position

Pinnacle Pointe Behavioral Health is an adolescent mental health facility serving children and teens with behavioral health issues. The Staff Nurse (RN) is a key member of the patient care team and provides care in a setting focused on excellent patient care, comfort, and security for patients and families. The role is scheduled for Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday nights from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Associate’s degree required.
• Current Arkansas nursing license, or eligibility to receive or renew one.
• Current CPR or BLS certification.
• Ability to work harmoniously and effectively with patients, families, visitors, and staff.
• Ability to work as part of a team with staff and coworkers and treat all patients with respect.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• One year of experience working in a psychiatric inpatient setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prescribe, coordinate, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with health team members.
• Follow the nursing process and standards of care and practice to ensure patients receive the best possible care.
