About The Position

American Senior Communities is hiring a full-time Registered Nurse at Glenbrook Rehab for evening and night shifts. Nurses build meaningful relationships with residents and staff by learning their life stories and use their nursing skills to promote residents’ physical and psychosocial well-being. The role is supported by the company’s clinical standards and established care processes, with a focus on excellence in skilled nursing and senior care.

Requirements

• Current and valid Registered Nurse license in the state of Indiana.
• Proficient medication management skills.
• Ability to conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in resident conditions.
• Strong passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence.
• Ability to collaborate with nursing and other facility teams and contribute to teamwork.
• Ability to communicate interpersonally in support of a respectful and positive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Promote residents’ physical and psychosocial well-being through nursing care.
• Manage medications proficiently.
• Conduct thorough resident assessments and accurately document changes in resident conditions.
• Promote teamwork among the care team to meet residents’ needs.
• Collaborate with nursing and other facility teams to coordinate comprehensive resident care.
• Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents.
