About The Position

The Registered Nurse staff nurse provides direct nursing care in accordance with the established policies and procedures of Las Palmas Medical Center and the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners. In collaboration with patients, their families, and other members of the health care team, the nurse assesses, plans, implements, evaluates, and coordinates treatment plans and the plan of care. The role is in Labor Delivery and is listed as PRN.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) qualification.
• Associate degree.
• At least 1 year of experience.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Neonatal Resuscitation must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• No travel required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care according to Las Palmas Medical Center policies and procedures and the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners.
• Collaborate with patients, their families, and other members of the health care team.
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and coordinate treatment plans and the plan of care.
