About The Position
Join Baylor Scott and White Medical Center - McKinney as a Registered Nurse and be part of something better! This role is in the Acute Care Unit (ACU), a fast-paced environment that includes high acuity patients. The ACU leadership team fosters an environment that supports learning, mentoring, and building every team member. The patient population includes General Adult Medical-Surgical and Telemetry patients. The unit has 48 beds and a patient ratio of 1:5. This is a Magnet facility with over 80% of staff holding a BSN. The unit offers opportunities for skill advancement and growth, great collaboration across disciplines, and wonderful inter-department teamwork.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2.5 years of Acute Care/Med Surg Tele hospital experience.
- Graduated from an Accredited Program.
- Specialized field of study in nursing.
- RN license.
- BLS certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of starting.

- BSN degree (over 80% of staff hold this).
Responsibilities
- Provide care to high acuity patients in a fast-paced Acute Care Unit.
- Work with General Adult Medical-Surgical and Telemetry patients.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
