About The Position

Temecula Valley Hospital (TVH), part of Southwest Healthcare, provides advanced technology, innovative programs, and patient-centered, family-sensitive care. The hospital offers emergency care, cardiac and stroke care, orthopedics, and general and surgical specialties. The Registered Nurse performs an initial assessment appropriate to the patient’s clinical presentation or diagnosis, care setting, age, developmental level, and cultural and religious orientation in a timely manner. The nurse identifies and prioritizes the need for further assessment based on the patient’s clinical presentation or diagnosis, care setting, desire for care, and responses to previous care. Requirements

Completion of an accredited Registered Nursing program.
Current California Registered Nurse license.
Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
Current PALS certification.
CPI certification within 90 days of hire.

Nice To Haves

One year of medical/surgical experience in an acute care facility is preferred.
