Registered Nurse role in an endoscopy setting serving adults through geriatric patients. The nurse is expected to perform vital sign and blood glucose checks, work through pre- and post-procedure care, circulate, and function as a technician. Required procedures include ERCP (including ERCP with SpyGlass), bronchoscopy, EBUS, colonoscopy, EGD, and the ION procedure. The unit has three rooms and 11 beds, with an average daily census of 20 and a stated ratio of 1:2. Systems used are Pyxis and Epic. The schedule is two 10-hour shifts (6:30–5) and two 8-hour shifts (6:30–3), totaling 36 hours per week. The role includes one weekday call per week and one weekend call per six-week schedule, as well as two to three weekends per contract. Holiday work is required according to the assignment-period rules in the posting. No floating is required. This is a contract assignment. Up to seven days of RTO are allowed per contract, with Spring Break (April 4–12) listed as a blackout period. Full compliance is required to start on time; otherwise, the start may be pushed back two weeks because orientation occurs biweekly. Candidates undergo clinical review for fit before consideration by the manager. Local candidates are accepted at the same rate. Non-billable orientation hours depend on contract length.
