About The Position
The Registered Nurse (RN) on the 8AE - General Medicine unit at Ardmore East provides compassionate, evidence-based care for adults with complex, non-surgical illnesses, often involving multiple comorbidities. The unit prioritizes dignity, independence, and holistic well-being for every patient. The team works collaboratively to deliver personalized treatment plans that address medical needs, ensuring the highest standards of adult population care. Ambient Listening, a voice-activated documentation tool, is used to record and transcribe patient-nurse conversations in real-time to generate automated flowsheet documentation.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
- At least one year RN experience
Responsibilities
- Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
- Utilize evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and communication skills.
- Lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
