Registered Nurse - Medical Group Neurology
About The Position
The Registered Nurse - Medical Group Neurology position is a full-time role (40 hours per week) with a work schedule of Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. The role involves providing nursing care services under the direction of the office Practice Manager and Physicians. Key responsibilities include phone triage, managing test results, medication refills, prior authorizations, conveying plans of care, and patient education/teaching. The nurse will also review and respond to NorthShore Connect messages from patients and chart in Epic, the electronic medical record system. This position requires travel to various NNI locations including Evanston, Skokie, Lincolnshire, and Glenbrook.
Requirements
- Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of IL required
- Graduate of State-approved school of nursing; ASN minimum
- BLS/CPR certification from the American Heart Association required
- 1 year of nursing experience in an office or hospital setting required
